What’s New This Month
QuoteToMe News:
- The Purchases Best Practices for the Construction Industry series is less than a month away! In this webinar, construction leaders will learn how to decrease transactional spend costs by reducing internal overheads, improving supplier relations, and streamlining payables. Register today to attend the first session on June 2, 2021!
- QuoteToMe welcomes Will Boytinck to the team! Will joins us as a sales operations intern for the summer!
App Updates:
- The QuoteToMe Solutions Centre is now available in the app! Access support articles and videos to learn about all of the features of QuoteToMe whenever you need assistance. To open the solution centre, simply click on the question mark icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- The bid grid has been revamped for QuoteToMe on the web. You can now review quotes and see your options in a simpler layout and the view is no longer limited to just three options.
- Added support for purchase orders of rental items that include only one of day, week, or monthly rental rates. Previously, all three rates (day, week and month) needed to be entered for a PO to have the correct total. Now if you only have a daily rate, a weekly rate, or a monthly rate the calculation will be done correctly even if the other fields are left blank.
- User permissions have been simplified. QuoteToMe users now exist as one of three different user types: field, project management, or accounting users. Instead of having customizable feature set for each job title, each user type has access to a consistent set of features. For more information on each user type and the associated permissions, please read the solution centre article.
- URLs included in vendor comments appear as clickable links.
- Fixed a bug where the accounting distribution list was not being copied on all purchase order change orders.
- Fixed a bug to allow users who are project owners to delete costs codes. This was previously limited to company administrators
- Fixed a bug that was preventing bulk cost code upload during project creation
Industry News:
- Clean and useful data is finally available across all phases of construction projects. The availability of this information will be transformative on the industry in time. Read more about data in construction in Construction Executive Magazine and join the conversation about the impact this will have on your business!
